“Flowers every night
blossom in the sky;
Peace in the infinite,
At peace am I.”
Rumi
💐 Flowers starts with slow melancholic synth melodies and a dark deep bass. This rich opening creates an introspective mood leading to a hypnotic dreamy transition.
Soaring synth pads and uplifting driving sequences then propel the piece towards a transcendent ending.
This downtempo track takes you on a journey from reflection to release.
Walking in the forest and marveling at canopies and roots, same but different.
Minimal synth music patterns and sequences explorations using extensive modular systems.
Nothing stays the same and nothing stays still.
A choreography of elements, nature, men and machines and the progression of time are explored in this 4-pieces EP.
What does it mean to seek for Shelter?
Gritty synths and melodic piano evoque the sens of urgency and also relief that might occur when in search for shelter.
A four-seasons story.
A journey as seen through the passing of time exploring values of our own essence.
Inspired by Vincent van Gogh, this video uses Gate as the soundtrack—taken from our EP “A Piece of my Sky”.
Hypnotic and mesmerising this video uses a very sparse, minimalistic soundtrack to instill repeating pattern seen in nature.
It’s raining, I’m sitting in the shelter at Montpelier train station, in Bristol.
I’m looking around and I’m struck by all the graffiti, every glass panel is covered, I try to work out what happened here.
Someone put up a poster,
Someone ripped it,
Someone sprayed a tag over it,
The Friends of Montpelier station tried to clean all this up,
and the result is layers and layers of urban abstraction.
I notice how the metal frames are all clean, and it looks as if each panel is a framed piece of art.
For a moment I’m in an art gallery.
The photos I have taken form the backdrop of the music video.
Read about us, our music and what inspires us.
We love weaving in our music found sounds that we process electronically and combining the music with imagery from fleeting moments of the everyday.
We all look up at the sky and dream. We look up at the sky and are moved by its beauty. In these ways we are all connected.
A piece of my sky was born out of the desire to show connection between people. Wherever we are on the planet, seeing through someone else’s eyes connects us.
Send a photo to show a piece of your sky and be part of this connection project.
